stereo album tops $10,000
In September of 2010, an original Parlophone stereo release of the Beatles' "Please Please Me" sold on ebay for GBP $10,300 (approximately $16,325.00). This 1963 album, with its distinctive black and gold label, is one of the Beatles' rarest releases. It contained the "A" and "B" sides of the group's first two singles along with ten other songs, all recorded in one marathon session at Abbey Road Studios. Source: popsike.com
