attracts feverish bidding
In January of 2009, a rare blue vinyl issue of Pink Floyd's "Meddle" sold on ebay for $12,000. Sellers were not put off by a starting price of $1,500, as the disk ultimately attracted 48 bids. It was described as being so rare that it was "not on the Vernon Fitch site yet" (namely www.pinkfloydarchives.com, a site which faithfully documents the history of the band).
